... what to put on the updated list of the most insane things that have happened here.
It turns out the list hasn't been updated since 2014 ... and that was before this year's political season ... so it's time to suggest adding a few more items of insanity.
For instance, I'm hoping we can get both of these on any updated list:
That time Little Marco suggested that the confederate soldier statue representing the state in the US capitol be replaced by one of Tim Tebow -- he of the erstwhile "I'm going to mock God and make people think that one of his most important things to do is to watch my football games and help me score touchdowns" fame ...
Or that time that our governor and future VP (unless that was just a nightmare?) invited Yale to move on down to Florida to escape a potential new tax burden that CT was considering placing on the school's endowment. Yale! To Florida! Without any apparent concern as to what would happen to so many super smart people, who were also likely white and pasty-skinned, once they hit the Florida sunshine (I'm guessing spontaneous combustion and so I'm hoping that part of his plan was to turn FloridaYale into a night school program)!
I knew before making the big move just over two years ago that Florida was different than anywhere else in the country ... I'm just finally beginning to appreciate exactly HOW different ...
