L V C || C L Memory 89
In 89 days, I'll be back on campus at my alma-mater at an extra special homecoming as Lebanon Valley College continues celebrating its 150th birthday. In honor of that countdown, here's memory #89: me singing ... on stage ... in a musical!
Now I would never consider myself all that much of a singer ... but I was apparently enough of one to get the Sid Sorokin role in the spring 1991 student run production of 'The Pajama Game'. (A special thanks to those who gave me help on my audition song, 'Empty Chairs at Empty Tables'.)
As with the spring 1990 musical, there's just too much stuff for one memory ... so this will spill over into tomorrow night ... but for now, here's all the press from our little production (mostly favorable, although the school reviewer was not a fan of the program).
Oh ... and also ... in the upper middle section, some pencils from Mabel in the office and a note to meet her at the Hideaway (for a little 'Steam Heat' no doubt).
