Yep ... you are all on notice. The house next door is available to rent, in case you had a dream you want to fulfill of living right next to me and mine.
Warning ... there's a good chance I will NOT have a cup of sugar if you show up on the doorstep asking to borrow some.
Since being here just over a year, it's been the same guys over there -- between one and ten Haitians, and the occasional Puerto Rican woman -- seemingly just on the weekend. I had first thought they were Jamaicans (the accents were thick and every other word was "focken", pronounced exactly that way), but their weed smelled way too skunky all the time for them to be from that island and so I concluded that they must have been from the other one instead.
I'm not sure why they left ... although all of a sudden one day, and elderly Haitian woman was sitting in a folding chair underneath that tree and then they all packed up and were gone. Plus the weekend before, I do know that the Puerto Rican woman informed the gang of guys that they should never talk about her mother ever again. I have no idea if those things are related or not.
Second warning ... I work from home ... so if you do move in AND you are louder than you should be, chances are that I'm going to know your business.
Devil(s) I knew ... that just might end up being better than the devil(s) I've yet to know ... you will be missed (but not your loud outdoor parties with your excess skunky smokiness).
