What southern Florida is talking about this week:
Easter!
(Well ... that's what *some* of us are talking about. Admittedly, it's a diverse community with a sizable Jewish population, so not *everyone* is Eastering today ...)
This ham is waiting for the oven to get pre-heated ... and those Publix cupcakes are lined up for dessert (they were purchased the other day, as Publix is one of the few places closed today for the holiday). Once again, I was denied a bacon-wrapped ham for the main meal -- despite the fact that the turkey has been wrapped for a past Thanksgiving AND that the beef has been wrapped for a past Christmas -- because I was told it would be overkill. Oh well ... I guess I'll have to ask again next year.
And ... to those of you who celebrate ... Happy Easter to you and yours from me and mine!
