Used in a sentence: "Those of you of a certain age might have picked up on the attempt to mimic Peter Brady's infamous 'pork CHOOOOOPS and applesauce', but if you didn't, just know that, similar to Peter's announcement of what's for dinner, it looks like it is now time to break into the hurricane stash -- which means that tonight's dinner just might be 'slim JIIIIIMS and tunafish'."
Hurricane season is winding down (once upon a time, it ended Oct 31, then shifted to Nov 15 and finally to Nov 30), and so that means that we're feeling like we can raid the emergency supplies (not pictured are the four cases of bottled water currently in the laundry room).
Maybe *next* year will be the year I get to experience nature's fury in my new surroundings ... and maybe *next* year we'll put more choices in the stash.
