Random Memorial for Monday 8/31/15

Gone but not forgotten:  Oliver and Wes, but NOT James Earl.

This is what happens when you spend too much time on the Facebook ... it starts to become your news feed and you mistake what you see there for actual news.

Which is why I started to mourn he who supplied the Vader voice (my first glimpse of him) and he who drove Miss Daisy (the Jessica Fletcher edition) on Broadway (my last recent glimpse of him, courtesy of the PBS), after having saw his death notice crawl across my Facebook feed this weekend.

Turns out he's alive.  And that was a hoax.  And he's not dead.

Although Oliver Sacks and Wes Craven are.  Dead.  "-Er than a doornail" dead.  And things happen in threes ... so consider yourself all on notice.  Just know that it's NOT (yet) Mr. Jones.

Brainy guy and scary guy (but not guy with more than enough gravitas for all of us [quite yet]), you will be missed.
