Random Memorial for Monday 8/10/15

[Almost] Gone but not forgotten ... or, said another way ... gone and then remembered:  Betty Rubble, and her chance to get eaten once a day.

One of the local bar rags (called AroundTown, and it's mostly photos of randy senior citizens and the waitstaff who service them) includes all kinds of random facts (you'll see a few of them throughout this week ... but not enough to declare it an official theme week like I used to do).  This one caught my eye ... and so I went fact-checking on the interwebs to include this as today's post.

Turns out that Betty *was* missing for a long long time ... until the live action movie came out and Rosie O'Donnell, who played her, campaigned, successfully, to get her added to the mix.  (That name is probably familiar as she's connected to the Trump ... maybe a mistress but I'm not sure ... I didn't have time to fact check that one ... but I know from the debate that she's *very* relevant to *his* campaign ...)

Someone should go tell the AroundTowners ... because Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Rubble (née McBricker/O'Shale), thanks to Rosie, you are no longer missed (well, at least to the daily vitamin crowd).
