Earlier this week, my little blog's view count odometer rolled over to that number.
I recognize that the milestone may pale in light of the typical interwebs currency of millions ... but considering I started all of this 5 years ago as a place to house the vast majority of the random thoughts I was putting on the Facebook (and then, in a circular way, I use the Facebook to put my blog posts up as status updates to a captive audience of sorts), I'm still a little surprised that I've been viewed that many times.
You may not always get my particular sense of humour ... or understand my convoluted writing style ... or share my affinity for countdowns ... or be waiting for the next installment of the short story I'm slowly writing (a project frozen since the big move to Florida) ... but thanks for sticking in there over 2200 posts later!
Maybe one of these days this creative outlet will turn into something bigger and I'll be asking you to buy a published collection of my writings ... but, for now, it's just randomly one Memorial, one Tune, one Wordplay, one Thought, one Flashback, one Soapbox, one Scandal Sheet, one Penn State post (if in season) and one Countdown (*always* in season) at a time...
