What southern Florida is talking about this week:
What to do with that extra hour of sunlight granted upon us today by the fake trickery of artificiality known as "Daylight Savings Time".
In my 'hood, what with it being a beautiful cloudless in-the-seventies early March "spring" day, it seems most people decided to do some yard work -- including here at the domicile. That's new cypress mulch (so the coconuts have a softer landing place) and a freshly raked and edged front yard at which you're looking in this photo.
After all, we Floridians (will I ever stop getting a kick out of saying that) have to do our lawn work now instead of the summer when it's triple digit degrees (and truth be told, I was still all but a puddle of sweat after the tasks were completed).
Happy DST to you and yours from me and mine!
