Random Memorial for Monday 2/24/13

Gone but not forgotten:  clear ice cubes.

Okay ... this may be my first complaint with regards to the move to Ft. Lauderdale.  I noticed it first in the water put in to the cat bowl, but my suspicions were confirmed now that the ice trays are executing the task for which they were designed.

*The water here definitely has a brownish-yellow hue.*

So if anything were to happen to me, perhaps that should be the number one lead that is tracked down.  The good news ... yellow water in Ft Lauderdale is such a popular search phrase that the google auto-filled it for me ... and it is apparently tested and regularly meets EPA standards, according to officials.

But still ... frozen blocks of ice from the freezer in Chicago that didn't look like they were dealing with a bout of jaundice ... you are missed.

NO WORRIES ... IT'S A KNOWN THING:
