Gone but not forgotten: the roof ... the roof ... the roof is collapsing (we don't need no more snow, let the $#%@ fall!).
One of the many things for which Facebook is useful is how I can move anywhere in the country and still be tied in to the news stories back home (in this case, home home in Lebanon PA, not home in Chicago). Which means I learned that the local TV station back home home had a roof collapse in this last round of snow storms. That, in turn, reminded me of the roof collapse that was in my past ... the winter that the back storage room at Hills came crashing down, with security guard Oliver having just barely escaped with his life.
Load bearing structural failures resulting in roofless buildings (recent and ages ago), you are missed.
