Random Wordplay for Wednesday 12/4/13

What a Shocking Bad Hat!

Used in a sentence:  "To all of you considering getting involved in the 'knockout game' fad currently the rage across this great land ... may I offer up a Victorian English version of the same to consider instead (circa 1831) -- namely, that which was known as (and can be known again, if I have my druthers ... and your druthers ... and all the knockout game participants' druthers) 'What a Shocking Bad Hat!'"

Here's how one played/plays (you'll immediately notice some similarities).

Step 1:  Approach a stranger who is wearing a hat.
Step 2:  Grab that person's hat from off his or her head.
Step 3:  Shout "What a Shocking Bad Hat!"
Step 4:  Run away laughing, keeping possession of the hat.
Step 5:  If relevant (depending on the 'hood in which you play the game), dodge bullets as you run.
Step 6:  Find your next hat-wearing victim and repeat from Step 1, until all those with whom you come into contact are without chapeau.

It's time to revive the traditions of yore ... and to return to a simpler time ... and to encourage folks to buy prettier hats.  Let's start something people ... it seems like the perfect season!
