Random Tune for Tuesday 12/17/13

It's the holidays ... and this song kept on popping up in the car this weekend when we were out and about doing our Christmas things here in the city.  So of course it's the tune I'm picking for today (what with Christmas Eve being just one week away)!

Admittedly, it's a bit morose (is there anything sadder than melancholy whores during the holidays?) but it's not as bad of a selection as when she kills off little kids requesting gingerbread (Dolly, I'm looking at you and your 'Me and Little Andy').

So if you're struggling with the blues this holiday season, buck up and take inspiration from these ladies of the night and their madam ... pour some apple wine on which to get drunk ... gather up some hard candy with which to lift your spirits ... and "don't let sorrow bring you way down".
