Random Tune for Tuesday 12/10/13

This is at least the fifth December I've been randomly micro-blogging (not micro in a "how dare you have bigger thoughts than 240 characters allow on Twitter ... but micro as a relative term), so it's getting harder and harder to post Christmas songs I haven't already referenced in years past.

One sure way to avoid that issue ... pick a song on an album that just got released ... as in, from Kelly Clarkson's NEW holiday album called "Wrapped in Red".

Specifically, I'm choosing the song represented by this picture ... itself a still from the special that will air tomorrow night on NBC.  Having seen the tour with the two on the right side of the photo when it came to Indy a few years ago ... I can only hope that something is being planned for 2014 that involves all three (although with Garth announcing today that he's on tour next year, I'm beginning to think that may not be a possibility).

This holiday season, who doesn't love a countrified version of the classic Silent Night to give us all cause to pause (as the song says, go round up some virgins and have a happy holidays)!
