Also -- winning the lottery means that you are almost certain to lose friends and family, so you who are out there thinking I'll be the source of an unlimited supply of dollars, there's no need to hasten the inevitable. As a matter of fact, a sure way to know that I won -- I'll probably spend the first chunk of change to legally modify my name so that I can't be found.
So here we go ... now we just wait with baited breath ... numbers clutched ... hopes alive ... until I hear that the winning ticket was sold in Chicago!
