The countdown to another bacon-wrapped turkey has commenced (it was the featured menu item for Thanksgiving 2009, and it will make a return to the table tomorrow). And the car is packed -- blue cheese stuffed olives (somebody is fond of martini's), pillows (ain't no pillow like yo' own pillow), a stack of old papers that I'm behind on reading (which I'll try to get through while watching the Macy's Day parade tomorrow) and Christmas music CDs (retailers may have been playing them since Labor Day -- but the trip home from the family's place in Indiana post-holiday is when it starts for me).
Bring on the Thanksgiving traditional festivities!
