100 Things I've Always Wanted To Say But Never Did And Now Maybe Should Since The World Might Be Ending -->
Thing 29:
File this under how I love my Indiana family ... but whereas the previous post in this series spoke about the current generation of family there, it's the next generation that has always held and will always hold a special place in my life (well -- for at least the next 29 days until all manner of Mayan hell breaks lose). Of course, kids don't stay kids forever -- and now Teddy and Jac and Robert are all grown up and (respectively) preparing to graduate from the Air Force academy, serving overseas in Deutschland or working their way through various restaurants as the next chapter of life is awaited. But I don't care how old they get or how distant they are geographically, they are still the three young-uns for whom we hid Easter Eggs each year, with whom we played all manner of games (cards or word or trivia or otherwise), beside whom we made all kinds of Chicago memories and unto whom we wish only the best life possible -- full of whatever they seek wherever they seek it. Dare I say? If the world doesn't end and we all have many years left ... I feel confident that our futures are safe in their hands. God bless you three and keep you safe in whatever your activity ... and be sure to keep your Facebook statuses updated so we can follow along and not feel like we're so damn far away.
