At some point in the last few years, I've said this every summer (or at least every season of Food Network Star) ... probably mostly to myself, but if alcohol and conversation mixed, maybe even out loud PLUS I know I hinted at it in a post last summer ... but I have to tell you that I would be just fine to hire reality show judges Susie and Bob to follow me around and offer opinions on my life and daily tasks.
They always seem to ask just the right questions, to see through any personality smokescreens, and to see through to the core of the situation at hand. With great empathy, and an ability to articulate spot-on feedback, I'd take a session with them after every challenge I face in my life.
I'm not a food-ie per se (I guess I would be more of an eat-ie), but if I run into them within the next 24 hours when I am oh-so-briefly in NYC (that's 8 hours at an airport, 9 hours in training at work, 6 hours sleeping and 1 hour for sight-seeing of some kind), I might just ask them to come back to Chicago with me!
THEY ARE THE NEXT FOOD NETWORK STARS IF YOU ASK ME:

OR AS I SAID LAST YEAR, LISTENING TO THEM IS LIKE QUALITY THERAPY:
