Gone but not forgotten: king size Snickers and such.
Perhaps the post is a bit too premature as the changes are only promised by the end of 2012, but Mars announced a few weeks ago that it will stop making chocolate products that exceed 250 calories (Snickers, Twix, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, etc...). Truth be told, at my increasing age and increasing girth, I should probably see this as a positive development (and, interestingly enough, in this polarized populace that rallied around the old fashioned energy-inefficient light bulb as a cry against government oppression , Mrs. Obama herself has been blamed for this loss of irresponsible snacking) ... but all things considered ...
... chocolate that made me feel like a king when I ate it (even if it ultimately meant I needed a bigger sized throne long-term on which to place my additional poundage), you will be missed.
