It's a 20 year old pic of my niece Casey Jo.
I don't know that it has any particular relevance to early September.
But with all the misery with which people are dealing back home thanks to the flooding brought on by Lee ... and all the (rightful) focus on the tenth anniversary of 9-11 filling the airwaves and mindspace of so many ... I just thought a smiling child might give people a reason to pause, and smile, and briefly think about something else.
