Random Scandal Sheet for Sunday 6/5/11

What Chicago is talking about this week:

Summer weekends in Chicago translate to trips to the beach (just limit the amount of time in the dirty water, beware of the type of gang activity that closed down the most popular beach on Memorial Day, and heed my advice to not head out unless it is at least 80 degrees and the winds are less than 15 mph) and street festivals (like the Sausage Fest in Wrigleyville these last two days -- and, yes, I wouldn't be the first to say that the whole concept in that particular neighborhood is kind of redundant).

It's a short season for shorts season in this town, so bring it on!
