Gone but not forgotten: German beansprouts in my diet.
An e coli outbreak in Europe has been traced back to ... first Spanish salad ingredients ... and then German sprouting ingredients (beans, alfafa, etc.) ... although now even that is suspect, according to breaking news today. The search for the contaminant continues ...
And, since they weren't in my diet to begin with, I guess they quite literally won't be missed.
