Random Wordplay for Wednesday 10/13/10

AFR or Vicissitudes or Vertical Integration.

Used in a sentence: I am now fully ensconced in the new fall TV season, and to make myself feel better about my eventual metamorphosis into one of those floating roly-poly-folks from Wall-E ... I am finding value in the fact that I am learning new vocabulary from some of my favorite shows (TV does not necessarily turn your mind to mush!): AFR from Undercover Boss, Vicissitudes from Big Bang Theory and Vertical Integration from 30 Rock.

And, to really test my new found knowledge, here are all three words in one real sentence: Who knew that my professional life would be subject to such vicissitudes as my employer reaches toward its goal of cradle-to-grave vertical integration; at least I'm beyond the shock stage (AFR in my shorts) when I heard the news!

IF ONLY I READ PARADISE LOST, I WOULD'VE LEARNED VICISSITUDES SOONER:
