Ok, maybe "beat" is a strong word, but for reals, she needs to be disciplined. That is unacceptable behavior. And hey, I am ALL for expression ... but I am also ALL for raising our next generation to respect the personal space of others.
That being said, if that father was like that mother in the other ad who pretends not to know where her purse is just to make her child run up and down the stairs and all around the house because she wants her progeny to be skinny ... well then that seat kicking child gets a free pass to continue to do so -- as punishment for that lying deceitful parent (because it goes both ways).
