Random Scandal Sheet for Sunday 10/2/16

What southern Florida is talking about this week:

Matthew, the hurricane.

Truth be told, the cone keeps on moving out to sea, so although southern Florida is indeed talking about the storm, it may be that we'll be spared yet again (similar to how it was with Hermine, which went into the Gulf and then crossed Florida up north).

More truth be told, I'm leaving town ahead of the storm and will be up in central PA long before the potential hurricane comes close to where me and mine live (although the "mine" part of that equation will be in the area, so there's that concern).

Most truth be told, although I do so want to experience my first hurricane now that I'm a Floridian, I hope it doesn't happen when I'm not around to open up the can of bacon flavored spam that's on my hurricane supply shelf!  ('Cause ... priorities!)
