What southern Florida is talking about this week:
... whatever's going to happen up there in Cleveland.
Because let's face it -- putting aside the concern from those who feel certain that one of the seals of the apocalypse will get broken this week just blocks from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (which I visited a few years back and I hope is still standing next week at this time), these next few days are going to be damn entertaining -- whether intentionally or not.
There WILL be violence (let's hope that it's not TOO bad), and I'm not saying that in some conspiratorial whisper seeing as how violence in Cleveland is potentially GOOD for the Republicans as law and order candidates (1968 much?), but I'm simply stating it as it as a fact with regards to modern living.
Also ... there WILL be Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr -- on the very first day! There WILL be fruit salad references, since Dr. Ben "Euthanasia" Carson talks on Tuesday ("euthanasia" 'cause he puts me to sleep when he speaks). There WILL be Trumps -- a lot of 'em -- although Ivana and Marla *aren't* on the list ... and neither are Newt's exes, because apparently tickets are limited and so family values candidates can't bring everyone from all their failed marriages to the show.
Finally ... there WILL be last stands (seeing as it's the last chance for #nevertrump to try anything tricky) ... and there WILL be confusion ('cause things are not going to go exactly as planned). I'll also go out on a limb and predict that there WILL be some inappropriate tweets (and hashtags -- as my contribution over on the facebook as exclusive content).
Cleveland is going to rock in ways that Drew Carey couldn't even begin to imagine! And ... here ... we ... go!
