L V C || C L Memory 126
In 126 days, I'll be back on campus at my alma-mater at an extra special homecoming as Lebanon Valley College continues celebrating its 150th birthday. In honor of that countdown, here's memory #126: communication BEFORE texting.
Similar to yesterday's post, this could probably also be filed in the "how old was I" bin ... because these scraps of paper that were passed in class from person a to person b are what the young folks probably now accomplish via text messaging. And look, these "pre-historic" items even included fancy fonts and emoticons and secret signatures!
I'll tell you this ... for this series, I am opening up correspondence file folders that I probably haven't looked at for the last two decades ... and each month is filled with surprises as to what I decided to save for posterity back when I thought I might have a presidential library of my own one day (ah ... the innocence of youth)!
[Also: I'm fairly certain that no one was *actually* harmed in the making of the movie referenced in the note. Otherwise, these scraps of paper would be in an *evidence* folder somewhere instead.]
