File this under love ya like a brother, man ... but Jakey W, on this, your 24th birthday, and with an eye toward the end of world in exactly four weeks (allegedly), it's important for me to be sure to say that I'm grateful for all the memories of you as you grew up -- like going to the Senators games on City Island, and being a part of my one and only helicopter ride (over exotic Palmyra PA nonetheless), and for hanging out in the Lebanon bowling alley arcade or the PA Ren Faire or hiking up at White Rock. Time passes, life's events intervene, roadblocks appear and are overcome -- and we go where we go to live out our lives -- but time and distance never erase the connection. Can't wait to hear your continued success stories (in and out of school) ... and be sure to stay safe out there!
