Steven's Johnson Syndrome.
Used in a sentence: "Every time I hear those daytime TV commercials from lawyers seeking victims of Stevens Johnson Syndrome, I always do a double-take and make sure that there's not an apostrophe in that disease, as Steven's Johnson Syndrome would represent something else entirely."
So maybe that's actually punctuation play and not word play -- and, to be honest, that's all I have to say about that. Because as much as everything I typed in that example sentence is true, when I went looking for google images to accompany tonight's post, I quickly realized how horrific the actual syndrome is. As penance, please know that my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone afflicted by this condition!
