... surviving a Friday the 13th (I hope) ...bar crawling on the night of Friday the 13th (here in Chicago for the first time in over a month) ... recovering the day after ... recovering the day after that (that's a side effect of being 40 now -- it takes two days to recover and un-bender myself) ... having a vet evaluate Mauler on Monday to see what can be done (if anything) ... leaving for my first ever trip to Vega$ (it's 85% a work trip from Tuesday through Saturday, but there will be some time to ride that roller coaster on top of that casino and to see what is to be seen in the 110+ degree heat) ... waiting for the Emmy nominations that will be announced on the 19th ... enjoying the release of the 8th non-animated non-classically-serialized Batman feature on the 20th ... and rushing home from Vega$ to get to Indiana next weekend for a late graduation celebration and a rare occurrence of having all three nephews (the one who just graduated and other two who are already militarized) home at the same time (a rare occurrence that may not happen again until the end of this decade) ...
Why is it that all the summer's emotional excitement has to occur at EXACTLY the same time!?!
