So one last note (pun fully intended) on that whole Whitney Houston thing ... and that's my choice of tonight's tune. I bypassed what might have been the obvious (the JHud tribute at this weekend's Grammys -- or is that Grammies? -- although that certainly was a moving performance from someone who knows what loss feels like) and went for my favorite WHou song (that abbreviation thing doesn't quite work the same way for her, now, does it?) ... from the first Olympics I could really remember growing up (not counting the 1980 Winter Olympics Lake Placid hat I wore every winter of my youth) ...
