[I return to the occasional series I had started for Thursdays in September, interrupted last week so I could comment on the Lee-deluge going on in my hometowns ...]
The future is now ... as evidenced by the recent drive around the town of Carson City conducted by Nevada's governor.
Why was it so special? Because it was to test drive what the good folks at Google are doing to advance us toward the Jetson's age -- a driverless car that runs off of lasers, radar, sensors and computers.
Of course, the advance comes almost a half century too late for Mary Jo Kopechne as it relates to politicians and their driving skills, but it does point to a possible Super-Cruise-Control feature coming to a dealer's lot near you!
APPARENTLY, TO BE EXEMPT FROM THE UPCOMING TEXTING WHILE DRIVING BAN:
