2.) Commentator comment that made me groan: "Maybe for the day they will own the state of PA" -- made in reference to the possibility that Temple might win over Penn State and at the complete disregard of the Pittsburgh game being played at the same time. Hey buddy -- PA is a big state!
3.) Commentator comment that made me giggle: "That guy really is 5'5". He can be hard to see." -- made when discussing Temple's Owlet Matt Smith, who apparently also has an ill fitting helmet, a Napoleon complex, and a desire to taunt Chaz (not Bono, but Powell).
4.) Stat of the day: 0-35-1 OR 0-27 OR 28 game winning streak OR not since 1941. Fired up first year Temple coach notwithstanding, you can say it many different ways, but a win by Temple today would be a statistical anomaly at best.
5.) Final thought: In today's world of technological marvels, a tighter timeline for calling time outs would be appreciated. Let's get somebody on that right away. Thanks.
