Norma Jeane's rendition of the birthday song for JFK is iconic. So I was super-confused when I heard laser-tag-kiddie-pugilist Justin Bieber serenading Obama in the background of a recent commercial. Until I looked more closely and realized that he wasn't singing to any audience -- and that it was actually just an ad for the american cancer society -- and that other performers were featured in later versions.
That brief moment where I thought that Bieber kid was trying to seduce Mr. Obama, you are missed [or, actually, you are not missed -- I really could have done without that image].
