I don't mean to go off on a rant here, but ...
... I think I might finally understand all those oh-so-angry folks talking about how government has gotten too big (shades that we might have a Reagan revolution redux-- the first president I can recall) now that I've seen this headline: New SEC Rules Stop Short-Sellers Short.
We may be having a cool Labor Day weekend, but it's been one hell of a hot summer, and if I want to go out and buy extra pair or two of shorts, I don't think the government has a right to interfere. Alternatively, if they want to just ban kulats for guys, I'm actually OK with that level of sartorial regulation.
The point -- make your point heard. Just do us all a favor and do a little more research and have a little more of a grasp on the situation than I just demonstrated on my rant-in-cheek.
