Gone but not forgotten: Jeff Johnston.
While home sick today, I'm making progress on the DVR and finally got to the recent documentary series "This Emotional Life" from PBS. In the first installment, Jeff's story is featured -- he was a student who committed suicide after extensive cyber-bullying, and his mother worked tirelessly to eventually see the state of Florida pass the toughest law of its kind in the US. In his suicide note, Jeff wrote "don't blame anyone -- the world doesn't change" ... and his mother's dedication and commitment to this cause proved him wrong. Although she no doubt would rather still have Jeff in her life, her determination should be inspiration to us all -- progress made in his memory.
