What Chicago is talking about this week:
While the rest of the world watches the House vote on the Health Reform bill (and one lone wolf from the other side of the aisle doesn't portend a bipartisan era), efforts are underway closer to home to re-set the stage for the repeal of Cook County's draconian sales tax -- but with a rewriting of the veto requirements and a determination that super-majorities are subject to gradation. Thanks to Gov Quinn, we replace the 80% humongous-majority rule with a more palatable 60% teeny-majority rule!
