What southern Florida is talking about this week:
A divorce rate that is the lowest in 35 years!
In other news, both of my biological parents died this decade. Now I'm not saying for sure that the two facts are related, but they did both collect them as a hobby, so ... you know. If I owe America a "you're welcome" on their behalfs, then "you're welcome, America".
Of course, fewer people are getting married (silly silly millennials), so there's that. And seeing as how statistics can be spun to say just about anything, it seems like "divorce rate" itself can be defined a bunch of different ways.
So take the news as you wish ... and don't let that new trend alone dissuade you from doing what you have to do ... (you know who you are) ...
