L V C || C L Memory 21

In ONLY 21 days, I'll be back on campus at my alma-mater at an extra special homecoming as Lebanon Valley College continues celebrating its 150th birthday.  In honor of that countdown, here's memory #21:  livin' at the library.

No really.  I was "the tenant below", as I signed this note -- which explained that I had an extra semester before I graduated (for the first time).

Turns out that there was a storage room in the basement of the library (pre-recent-renovations), and I was allowed to turn it into my office, with a desk and a light and my files.  As an added bonus, I rearranged the old empty card catalogues into a wall, behind which I had a little cot.

I wasn't there seven nights a week ... but I also didn't have a dorm room that semester, and so that storage room was my home away from home when I was on campus -- kind of like a commuter lounge just for one.  College spoiled me ... as did Mrs. K, clearly.
