Used in a sentence: "I get that it is supposed to be all in fun, but it's a bit of a slap in the face when you crack open your passive-aggressive fortune cookie to see 'hungry is the man who finds salvation in a cookie'".
Now I know that all of the messages can't be as pithy as my favorite all time fortune that once was taped to my home office desk ("to catch the tiger's cubs you have to enter the tiger's den"), but I am looking for a *little* something something of substance at the end of my Chinese meal.
To the one who chose this for me ... I get it. I hear what you're saying. Loud and clear. You may as well have printed on it: "Next time, order pizza."
