L V C || C L Memory 66
In 66 days, I'll be back on campus at my alma-mater at an extra special homecoming as Lebanon Valley College continues celebrating its 150th birthday. In honor of that countdown, here's memory #66: a friendly game of Love Thy Neighbor between roommates.
Without a doubt, that J on this sheet is for roomie Jon M ... and for sure the T is for me.
For those not in the know, Love Thy Neighbor is a card game that's kind of like Uno for a real deck of cards (beware the ten of diamonds), and it was an old Neidermyer family game to which I added a few extra rules along the way when I was in college.
I'm guessing that this scorecard represents an ongoing game that we picked up over multiple sittings, but it also might have been a marathon all night card session during finals. (And those three numbers at the top are a mystery that I"m hoping I'll remember after staring at the picture long enough ...)
Bottom line ... I lost. Unless the game is still ongoing, and then maybe I still have a chance ...
