L V C || C L Memory 145

In 145 days, I'll be back on campus at my alma-mater at an extra special homecoming as Lebanon Valley College continues celebrating its 150th birthday.  In honor of that countdown, here's memory #145:  the time spent with Renato B.

Appearing for the first time on the interwebs/blog (I'm almost positive) -- THIS caricature of him as half of the featured "men and women of LVC" calendar for October 1989 put out by Delta Lambda Sigma during my first year of college.  Renato was many things ... a mentor ... my first director ... someone who took me under his wing who taught me a lot of what I ended up knowing about the student run LVC theatre life ... and a class act for so many of us to revere.

For a kid who went to college still learning who he was, to have him say to me with conviction, "You *belong* here!" went a long way to setting me on the course I took at LVC ... and beyond.
