In 144 days, I'll be back on campus at my alma-mater at an extra special homecoming as Lebanon Valley College continues celebrating its 150th birthday. In honor of that countdown, here's memory #144: the fall 1989 student production of 'The House of Blue Leaves'.
What with these first few posts starting out this series appearing somewhat chronologically, it's really no surprise that it's all led to this tonight: bits and pieces of the first ever LVC show that I was in -- with an amazingly talented cast (and crew) of course!
Continuing my theme of putting up rarely seen items as a part of this countdown, that first set of photos is (almost) every performer in the cast against the brick wall of the Mund College Center ... which was given to the caricaturist who provided the original art for the show poster, featured in the center of the second photo. [Sorry, lead Jef B -- I think you must not have been there that night and Renato must have taken care of your situation separately.]
How's about a 'House of Blue Leaves' reunion in a dozen dozen days? Anyone?
