So ... this is the companion photo to the one from two (or so) weeks ago ... from an evening two *decades* ago in 1996 when a bunch of us (including someone who clearly took this photo as this was from before the days of selfie-sticks) were undertaking the "mystery" task shown in the previous week's picture.
The location? The Cornwall rockpile, a frequent place we visited late at night in those days ...
The occasion? My first car, the 84 two door tan Ford Escort, which had turned over 100,000 miles at some point, was dead and gone ... and we were burying the steering wheel in "our spot" for eternity (or until that area gets developed, assuming it hasn't been yet or if it ever does).
The jacket hanging over the left shoulders on Corey and I? That was a "thing" I was trying to start 'cause I thought it looked cool.
The cigars? Swisher Sweets, of course, as that was how we marked such a solemn situation back then!
