Random Memorial for Monday 2/29/16

Gone but not forgotten:  Black History Month 2016.

But before it closes ... can I just say how my eyes were opened courtesy of a quote from the recent movie 'Dear White People'?  Specifically, my enlightenment happened due to it's investigation into the *true* reasoning behind the classic film 'Gremlins' of my youth.  I'll let the accompanying image summarize the conclusion ... because, you know, as a white guy, I don't want it to come off the wrong way.

Also ... I'm going to go watch 'Goonies' with a more critical eye to figure out the true meaning there.

That which had to end today (although you did get an *extra* day this year courtesy of the Leap phenomenon) in order to make way for Women's History Month (starting tomorrow) ... you will be missed.
