Fond Memory 9
on this, the Quadranscentennial Celebration of
my Lebanon High School Graduation:
With 36 days to go (time to finalize the itinerary of the return trip home for the 25th reunion weekend), tonight's top-10-worthy fond memory number nine of my time there (which was only four years ... since 7th and 8th grades were at the *Junior* High in my hometown ... and since I didn't have to repeat any from 9th through 12th) ... was how I pretty much had the run of the place.
Admittedly, these passes in the photo handed out the senior year for those who had the best deportment would have helped had I ever been asked by the hall monitors to show my "carried papers" (and, by the way, "hall monitors" back then didn't have to worry about metal detectors in those innocent days) ... but let's face it. Little old innocent me could walk the halls with impunity all my days there.
Check back Monday the 8th for memory number 8!
