Track number 7 of 39 (if you've forgotten, I'm going through a two cassette mix tape [mixed tape? I think I've written it out both ways ...] that was made to memorialize a certain life-changing time during a couple of back to back semesters at LVC in the early nineties) ... a little something something from that country singer who just (more officially) unretired (kind of) recently.
Just this week, I found the "liner notes" (an 8 page document printed out in the LVC computer lab at the end of a semester by mixmaster Jon M [yes, I'll bring you a copy when I visit in mid-October]), which reminded me that this was actually a Christmas/New Years gift that year.
And it also provided this comment for this tune ... "This song about dreams tells us we have to go after them [as] they're not going to just come to us. It also encourages us to never give up -- we all have to sail our vessels til the river runs dry!". I'll take that reminder any day any year ...
THERE'S BOUND TO BE ROUGH WATERS ...:
