I don't mean to go off on a rave here, but ...
[remember, once a month, I commit to a rave instead of a rant on a Saturday ... because it's good for the soul]
... look at what I picked up unexpectedly today here in Ft. Lauderdale!
Long story long -- the puppy dogs were invited to an open house/farmers market type event at Marando Farms on the other side of town. So after an early morning bath, they got in the car and went down to see a bunch of vendors (don't worry -- they sit in the back as they aren't yet old enough to drive in Florida) ... and also see some pigs and ducks and goats and geese and a community garden ... and also see a table from the rescue agency that located both Casanova and Octavius ... and also see a dog park area complete with a baby pool ... and as for me, I got to see an inside area selling organic this and fresh grown that PLUS these bags of Zerbe's chips.
Mind you, the $6.99 was a steep increase from the little quarter bags I used to get from the PA farmers markets of Roots and Green Dragon back in the day (they were part of the meal I created with the Raub's Subs and the authentic Birch Beer and the Amish vanilla ice cream with huge chunks of peanut butter), but I'll take a bit of home anywhere I can get it!
[And now I've added a trip to Green Dragon to my PA itinerary when I'm home for my 25th HS Reunion in a few weeks ...]
