Gone but not forgotten: Jan Hooks.
Lest I start something unintentionally, she's not dead or anything so drastic ... and I'm not trying to mimic the Betty White hoax that is hitting the interwebs this week. It's just that Jan's not working nearly as much as she should be, at least according to my opinion.
Sure there was the sighting of her on 30 Rock now nearly four years ago. And quite a few channels have reruns of her Carlene from Designing Women in rotation to start to satisfy my need to spend some kind of time with her. And if you're really really lucky, you'll catch an SNL from the late eighties (which is when I started watching that seminal show) to get that funny bone tickled in just the right way. And the luckiest of all are those who somehow get to re-watch her skit of "Love is a Dream" with the late Phil Hartman.
Jan joins Bonnie (that's Hunt in case you're not a regular reader) as someone that needs to be put back on the television at everyone's earliest convenience, because the world would be a better place for it, because the public demands it, and because, at least for me, she is so missed.

RANKINGS ARE RIDICULOUS, BUT SHE SHOULD BE HIGHER THAN NUMBER 15:
