Early next week, I advance even deeper into the decade of my life where my age starts with the number four, and I'm learning that it's good to keep in mind where I fit into the overall scheme of things.
For instance, it turns out I'm YOUNGER than Starbucks (founded Mar 30, 1971) -- and also YOUNGER than Rite Aid, Wendy's and Bed, Bath and Beyond (all founded in the late 60's/early 70's). No surprise, really, that I'm OLDER than Apple, American Eagle Outfitters and Home Depot (all founded in the mid to late 70's). Similarly, I'm YOUNGER than ATM machines, floppy disks and VCR tapes ... but OLDER than Hacky Sacks, disposable Bic lighters and Post It notes.
All of which just hammers home the point ... a lot sure does change in a lifetime, doesn't it?
